I turn to Wisdom as I turn to a friend.
I listen to her as a trusted advisor.
I embrace her as a sister.
Her council has ever been faithful.
I heed her advice and am not put to shame.
Oh to know her more fully! To step surely in her paths!
For her guidance, I would forsake all earthly teachers.
She is the handmaiden of the Most High, his creation in whom he delights.
He is pleased with her council, because she considers his precepts.
He entrusts his children to her teachings, for they are right.
She speaks as one who knows the will of God, as one who looks upon his face.
Seek her words, listen for her voice,
And you will find life, confidence, and peace.
